Extreme Opposition

NOW and other progressive organizations work to fight the extreme right. This begins by exposing their extremist agendas. Anti-woman groups on the extreme right have contributed to the ultra-conservativism of the Bush administration and have regained prominence within the mainstream of legislative and judicial politics in recent years. It is important to realize that these groups do not represent the mainstream opinions of American society and are, in fact, resources of the radical right.
